Pokemon GO Hisuian Discoveries Collection Challenge: How To Complete And Rewards

image

Pokemon GO has had a bit of a lull over the last month compared to the previous ones, with fewer larger-scale events, but now the game is introducing a few new regional exclusive forms alongside the Hisuian Discoveries Collection Challenge.

The Hisui region made its debut earlier this year with Pokemon Legends Arceus, a spin-off set in an older version of the Sinnoh region that was then known as Hisui.

This game introduced new regional variations for certain Pokemon that were exclusive to the game. Hisuian Voltorb and Electrode were the only ones to make the jump to Pokemon GO before, but now a few more have been added as part of this event as well.

When Is The Event?

The Hisuian Discoveries event in Pokemon GO kicked off on Wednesday, July 27, at 10:00 am local time and will run through Tuesday, August 2, at 8:00 pm local time.

During this time, not only will there be the new regional forms from the Hisuian region, but also other specific Pokemon that will be spawning more than others. Of course, Niantic has also introduced a new Collection Challenge related to those increased spawns.

Hisuian Discoveries Collection Challenge Pokemon

As part of the Hisuian Discoveries event that has added new Pokemon forms into the game for the first time, only a couple of them are actually part of the Collection Challenge.

Those like Hisuian Growlithe and Hisuian Sneasel are not included for some reason, but there are still a couple of them included along with a number of other Pokemon.

To complete the Hisuian Discoveries Collection challenge, you need to catch the following Pokemon before the event is over.

  • Hisuian Voltorb
  • Buizel
  • Aipom
  • Ponyta
  • Drifloon
  • Hisuian Qwilfish
  • Tangela
  • Onix
  • Croagunk
  • Bronzor
  • Gible
  • Octillery

The reward for completing this Collection Challenge isn’t exactly the greatest, as you only get 7,000 XP, 3,000 Stardust, and 1x Incubator.

While the XP and Stardust is nice to get, they could have done much better with the additional item. Even having just a Super Incubator would have made it better of course, especially with the ability to hatch the four Hisuian base form Pokemon that are in the game.

As always, you will have until the end of the Hisuian Discoveries event to complete this Collection Challenge, so you should have plenty of time.
