Port Adelaide’s season ended with an eight-point loss to Fremantle on Sunday afternoon.
It has been a disappointing campaign for Ken Hinkley’s side in 2022 and although they are playing competitive football at the moment, it is too little too late.
GWS will also be absent from September but they recorded the fifth win of season 2022 when beating Hawthorn in wet conditions last weekend.
