Prestige DRX Aatrox Skin Splash Art, Price, Release Date, How to Get

Prestige DRX Aatrox was revealed alongside the other special League of Legends World Championship skins commemorating DRX’s win last year.

The winners of the League of Legends World Championship each year receive commemorative skins of the players’ choosing. LCK’s DRX won last year’s World Championship defeating T1 in the grand final 3-2. Top laner Hwang “Kingen” Seong-hoon is receiving the first ever Prestige skin after receiving MVP in last year’s finals. A nice touch for what’s one of the most popular skin releases each year.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Prestige DRX Aatrox skin coming to League of Legends.

Above is the promotional imagery for the full Worlds DRX skin line including Aatrox. Though, this is likely not the Prestige splash art. Once the skin’s splash art is released, we’ll update our story.

Since this skin is the first of its kind, a price is hard to guess. Perhaps Riot Games makes it available through in-game tokens like other events, or a Mythic Essence tag or RP price is attached. Once a price is known, we’ll update our story.

Prestige DRX Aatrox, alongside the other DRX skins, are expected to arrive in League of Legends Patch 13.11, though it remains unconfirmed. Riot Games traditionally announces new skins during a patch week. Those announced skins are then released in the following patch usually. Patch 13.10 releases Thursday, May 18, so expect these skins to come in Patch 13.11.

Once the skin is released, Prestige DRX Aatrox can be acquired either through the Loot, Event or Store tabs. It’s currently unknown how the skin will be released, whether as a Mythic skin through the Loot tab, a special event skin, or as a premium RP skin.
