SIXER to stand in for Falcons in Global Esports Tour Dubai

Falcons have announced that French veteran and former Envy and LDLC player SIXER will stand in for the team in the upcoming Global Esports Tour event in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, later this month.

The 31-year-old will take the place of Jordan “Python” Munck-Foehrle, who has to sit out the $250,000 event because of issues concerning his passport, the announcement states.

Falcons call upon their former LDLC teammate for Dubai

Currently on a stand-in stint with Ambush, SIXER has been teamless since the beginning of the year, when LDLC decided to part ways with their entire roster and head in a new direction, which saw the organization sign a number of internationally untested players.

He will temporarily rejoin three of his former teammates from that lineup in Bryan “Maka” Canda, Ali “hAdji” Haïnouss, and Nicolas “Keoz” Dgus as well as coach Steeve “Ozstrik3r” Flavigni at the Dubai tournament, which is set to kick off on Thursday, June 9.

Coming in as one of the seven directly invited teams, Falcons are set to face off against MOUZ in the opening round of the single-elimination bracket, in the second game of the first play day scheduled for 11:30 .

Falcons‘ roster at the Global Esports Tour Dubai will look as follows:

France Bryan “Maka” Canda
France Ali “hAdji” Haïnouss
Belgium Nicolas “Keoz” Dgus
France Jayson “Kyojin” Nguyen Van
France Christophe “SIXER” Xia (stand-in)

France Steeve “Ozstrik3r” Flavigni (coach)
