The top group G team, South Africa, will take on Zimbabwe this Thursday in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers at the FNB Stadium with the two sides on different ends in the group. Zimbabwe on the other side have already been dropped from the qualifiers after the played four matches. Zimbabwe have been on a poor run and have been able to manage only to win once in their previous 15 matches in all competitions.
Zimbabwe are now in the last place in the group having managed the only point against South Africa in the opening group match. Zimbabwe have then lost in their previous 3 matches with the last two matches having felt to defeat on the hands of Ghana. In the last encounter Ghana beat Zimbabwe 1-0. They conceded after half hour count and couldn’t get the net to comeback.
Zimbabwe will come to this match to at least secure a victory in the run.
