T.Y. Hilton Signs with Dallas Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys are signing a veteran wide receiver for the stretch run and the playoffs. T.Y. Hilton, who has been a free agent for the entirety of the 2022 season, is reportedly signing with the Cowboys on what is likely a one-year deal.

The NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported the news via Twitter on Monday afternoon.

Hilton was a third round pick out of FIU in the 2012 NFL Draft. He remained with the Colts, who drafted him, for his entire NFL career before his contract ended with Indianapolis. He was a free agent until Dallas grabbed him.

2017 was the last season in which Hilton played in every game. He’s missed 16 games (while being under contract) since 2018. In his most recent season, Hilton played in 10 games, starting nine of them, racking up 331 yards and three touchdowns.

Stay tuned for more breaking NFL content, including midseason moves, contract updates and more news from every team.
