A general rule of thumb I like to follow for most media is that if you want to avoid spoilers, don’t watch the trailers. Every trailer for the Sonic the Hedgehog 2 movie has been refreshingly minimal on the story front — until the final one. As a warning, if you are planning on a spoiler-free experience of the film, don’t watch today’s trailer. It’s Batman v Superman all over again.
Granted, much of what’s in the trailer is what we’ve seen before. And the wedding Sonic and Tails crash probably won’t ruin the experience of seeing it for the first time in the movie.
