There is hope for a Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown PC port

Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown PC portEarlier this year, Sega, for the company’s 60th anniversary, released a new version of Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown called Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown. This re-release of the 2006 original featured updated graphics utilizing the Dragon Engine that powers the Yakuza series. The game released for free on PlayStation Plus, and according to the series producer, Seiji Aoki, it was a huge success. So much so that a Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown PC port is now a distinct possibility.
In an interview with Japanese publication Dengeki Online, Aoki goes over the game’s quick development time. The team had just a little over a year to get the game out the door in time for Sega’s 60th anniversary.
