This Week In Ducks Hockey Anaheim Takes On Calgary Tonight

Anaheim has a decent load this week with three matchups.

Tonight they will start things off in Calgary with a matchup with the Flames. Calgary enters the game 34-34-5 and 3-7-0 in their last ten games. 

The keys to success for Anaheim are threefold. Most importantly the Ducks need to stay out of the penalty box. They lead the league in penalty minutes 1,052. They also enter the matchup with the second worst penalty kill percent in the league. The mixture of the two has resulted in tough winds for the Ducks. Second, Anaheim needs to start winning in the faceoff dot. Henrique had been their best faceoff  man all season, but with him gone someone needs to step up. 

Finally, Trevor Zegras needs to get back into rhythm. He has managed just one point in five games since his return. As a whole the offense could really use his speed as they have struggled moving the puck as of late.

After their matchup with the Flames, Anaheim will head home for a home matchup Friday with the Kraken. Then Sunday they will host the Blues. Anaheim has just seven games left this season.
