Senegal’s work is already complete in qualifying for the World Cup in Africa and they now travel to take on Togo this Thursday at the Stade de Kegue in Lome looking to maintain the 100% record in the qualifications.

Togo on the other side came to this campaign with the determination to proceed to the Qatar World Cup but their Thursday’s opponents showed then their best on foot taking the 2-0 victory goals from Sadio Mane and Abdou Diallo.
The losing streak was extended by Namibia in the second fixture when they picked the 1-0 victory. Togo may have made a turn over but the qualification spot is out of reach for this second placed Togo here and will want to record a victory on them.
Togo had their first point in the third match fixture when they managed a 1-1 draw against Congo and the first victory came in a reverse match in the same fixture after Euloge Placca and Kevin Denkey got them to the 2-1 victory.
Togo will be fighting for the second place coming to this match when they take on the out of reach Senegal.
