Untold Tales and The Knights of Unity have joined forces to bring the chaos-filled, co-op home renovation party game, Tools Up! Ultimate Edition, to Xbox, PC and Nintendo Switch. Gear up for a chaotic and entertaining renovation journey – home improvement has never been this thrilling. 

With a new PvP mode, all 45 DLC levels, and the base game Tools Up! included, players are in for a wild adventure, climbing through a sprawling apartment complex to renovate homes with often bizarre requirements. It’s a test of precision and teamwork to meet the demands of quirky local tenants.

This isn’t your typical renovation job. Every level throws a myriad of tasks at you. From sweeping up after demolitions to painting walls, laying tiles, plastering wallpaper, collecting deliveries, and cleaning up the mess. It’s a challenging adventure.

Play with up to four friends

In Tools Up! Ultimate Edition, grab your toolkit and team up with 2 to 4 players to tackle the decorating tasks. Test your teamwork, multitasking, and communication skills as you race against the clock to complete the renovation, clean up the mess, and exit with time to spare. 

You’ll be able to invite up to four friends to your home renovation team. You’ll discover in time if that makes the tasks more efficient or leads to outright chaos. There’s no online multiplayer and even though the game supports single-player, it’s recommended to play with at least one other person.

That shouldn’t be an issue though. Because as well as co-op mode there is the brand new player vs. player mode where teams compete to complete the most tasks while interfering with each other’s progress. Various gameplay modifiers keep everyone on their toes. And the mode supports up to 4 players in different combinations, such as 1v1, 2v2, 1v2v1, and more.

• Time To Get Renovating – Grab your tools and hard hats; we have some home makeovers to do. Tools Up! is a chaotic local co-op game that puts your renovation and teamwork skills to the test. Work your way up a sprawling apartment complex as you renovate more and more intricate homes to meet the exact (yet often bizarre) requirements of the local tenants.
• Local Couch Co-Op for Up to 4 People – Play with up to 4 friends to add to the efficiency or outright chaos of your home renovation team. NOTE: This game supports local couch co-op only; there is no online multiplayer mode. The game can be played in single-player, but it is recommended to play with at least one other person.
• Plenty to Do Here – This isn’t a simple job, so we brought in some professionals – well, kinda. Every level requires you to tackle a lot of jobs and not make a mess of it. Sweeping up after the demolition crews, painting walls, laying tiles, plastering wallpaper, collecting deliveries, and cleaning up after yourself just to start.
• Competitive Home Makeovers – New PvP Mode – A brand new player vs. player mode that pits your team of renovators against each other! Race to complete the most tasks possible but also interfere with the other teams every step of the way. Various gameplay modifiers will keep everyone on their toes and can be played in various combinations for up to 4 players, e.g., 1v1, 2v2, 1v2v1, 1v1v1, 1v1v1v1, etc.
• Touch Up The Outdoors – All DLC Included – The Tools Up! Ultimate Edition includes all 45 levels of the Garden Party DLC. Dive into levels set in the seasons of spring, summer, and autumn as your outdoor renovation crew rebuilds patios, plants trees, spruces up lawns, and deals with a few pesky raccoons or moles. Each pack of season-themed levels comes with new mechanics, settings, and a mighty boss fight at the end!

Tools Up! Ultimate Edition is out now on Xbox, PC and Nintendo Switch, with a PlayStation 4 and 5 version heading our way in a few weeks.
