Vancouver Titans Sign Faith, Punk and Crimzo for 2023 Season

The free-agent portion of the Overwatch offseason is underway and teams are not wasting any time grabbing their players. The Vancouver Titans are team looking to upgrade their roster this season and they began their rebuild the first chance they got. On December 23, the Vancouver Titans welcomed Hongy-gyu “Faith” Kim, William “Crimzo” Hernandez and Leyton “Punk” Gilchrist. The three former Uprising players join fellow Boston Alums in Head Coach Valentin “Ascoft” Wulfman and General Manager Dennis “Barroi” Matz.

Faith joins the Titans as the first of two supports for the 2023 season. Faith previously spent the past two years with the Boston Uprising. With Boston, Faith served as a constant performer on a roster that had several up-and-down games. Heading into the new season, Faith will be reunited with his 2022 backline duo, Crimzo.

Crimzo heads to Vancouver in 2023, joining his fourth team in four years. Crimzo is as solid as they come in the flex support role, but found himself switching in and out of the starting roster with Boston in 2022. With a new team, Crimzo looks to solidify his status as a top-tier OWL flex support once more.

To complete the Boston-to-Vancouver pipeline is standout tank player Punk. Joining midway through 2020, Punk was a bright spot on an otherwise shaky Boston roster each and every year. His performances on Sigma and Junker Queen gave Boston fans a bit of hope heading into the year-end playoffs. Punk should have the tank role to himself in Vancouver, giving him a chance to improve even further in 2023.

The three former Uprising players will have plenty to prove in 2023 as Ascoft trusts in these players to get results in a new environment.
