When Is The Pac-Man World Re-Pac Release Date?

During the Nintendo Direct Mini, Bandai Namco announced a remake of the old PS1 classic Pac-Man World. This modernized classic would be called Pac-Man World Re-Pac. The Pac-Man World Re-Pac release would include revamped graphics, gameplay, and much more.

The original Pacman World was released on the Playstation 1 in 1999. The game is a 3D platformer surrounding Pac-Man trying to rescue his friends and family, who were been kidnapped by the ghosts. Players play as Pac-Man through six worlds to find and save them all. Those six worlds are Pirate, Ruins, Space, Funhouse, Factory, and Mansion. Within each of those worlds is a unique boss battle.

Pac-Man will do more than just eat when compared to his 2D counterpart. In this 3D version of Pac-Man, he will have skills like the butt-bounce, rev-roll, hover-jump, and more while still collecting his trademark Pac-Dots and fruit. He will also be able to collect powerups throughout the game. Some of those powers can include Pac-Man becoming invincible, walking underwater with a chrome Suit, and even becoming mega Pac-Man to defeat enemy ghosts.
