2024 NFL Draft Grades

The 2024 NFL Draft is underway. As the draft goes on, teams will be graded on how they have done. Here are the 2024 NFL Draft Grades.

AFC East

Buffalo Bills:

New England Patriots: A

Draft Picks: QB Drake Maye,

In a deep quarterback class, the Patriots got a top 10 player in the class in Maye.

New York Jets: A

Draft Picks: OT Olu Fashanu,

The Jets addressed the offensive line in free agency, but Fashanu can add to that to make sure Aaron Rodgers is protected.

AFC North

Baltimore Ravens:

Cincinnati Bengals: B

Draft Picks: OT Amarius Mims

Mims is a naturally talented offensive tackle, but the Bengals have had trouble developing players at the position in the past.

Cleveland Browns:

AFC South

Houston Texans:

Draft Picks:

Indianapolis Colts: C

Draft Picks: EDGE Laiatu Latu,

Indianapolis had their pick of all defensive players, but decided to take Latu instead of a corner. Latu has plenty of injury concerns.

Jacksonville Jaguars:

Tennessee Titans: C

Draft Picks: OT JC Latham,

The Titans took Latham to improve the offensive line, which was a need, but reached on Latham.

AFC West

Denver Broncos: F

Draft Picks: QB Bo Nix,

The Broncos reached on Nix even though they did need a quarterback.

Kansas City Chiefs:

Las Vegas Raiders: B

Draft Picks: TE Brock Bowers,

Bowers is a great player, but the Raiders just drafted Michael Mayer at the position last season and their defense needs some help.

Los Angeles Chargers: A

Draft Picks: OT Joe Alt,

The Chargers picked the number two overall player on the board and have protected Justin Herbert. A wide receiver could’ve been the pick, but it is a deep class at that position.

NFC East

Dallas Cowboys:

New York Giants: A

Draft Picks: WR Malik Nabers,

The Giants didn’t get a quarterback, but did fill a huge need by selecting Nabers who has enticing speed.

Philadelphia Eagles:

Washington Commanders: A

Draft Picks: QB Jayden Daniels

Washington drafted the second best quarterback in the class and now have a quarterback to build around.

NFC North

Chicago Bears: A

Draft Picks: QB Caleb Williams, WR Rome Odunze,

The Bears made a trade last year out of the top pick and now have the top quarterback in the draft in Caleb Williams. They also got Williams a great weapon in Odunze.

Detroit Lions

Minnesota Vikings: B

Draft Picks: QB J.J. McCarthy, EDGE Dallas Turner

The Vikings drafted McCarthy, who was the fifth-best quarterback in the draft, but had to trade up to do so. They also traded up for Turner, but that was at a great value.

NFC South

Atlanta Falcons: F

Draft Picks: QB Michael Penix,

The Falcons acquired Kirk Cousins this offseason, so the pick of Penix doesn’t make much sense.

Carolina Panthers:

New Orleans Saints: A

Draft Picks: OT Taliese Fuaga,

New Orleans needed a tackle and got a great value pick in Fuaga, who has good power.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers:

NFC West

Arizona Cardinals: A

Draft Picks: WR Marvin Harrison Jr.,

The Cardinals had pick four, but they came away from the draft with the best player and a weapon for Kyler Murray in Harrison Jr.

Los Angeles Rams:

Seattle Seahawks: B

Draft Picks: DL Byron Murphy,

The Seahawks got a good interior rusher in Murphy, who is an athletic defensive lineman.
