BIG were able to subdue Grayhound in their 1-1 match despite the Australians looking scary early. Johannes “tabseN” Wodarz and his men were down six rounds early but were able to bring things back by not dropping a single round afterward. The dominating win puts BIG into the 2-1 pool as they will look to put that shaky start far behind them.
syrsoN shone for the Germans
Grayhound opened affairs with six rounds on the T-side with Jay “Liazz” Tregillgas getting five kills in the first two rounds alone. BIG were able to get back into the game with a win in round seven which led to a momentum shift that would give BIG the lead at the end of the half. BIG ended the half with nine rounds in a row, making the score 9-6 in their favor.
In the second half BIG carried on where they had left off. Despite losing the first six rounds, the Germans went on to win 16 in a row, not letting the Australian underdogs get themselves back into the game.
Florian “syrsoN” Rische led the way for BIG, ending the game with 26 kills. The young gun of Karim “Krimbo” Moussa was not far behind syrsoN, with 21 kills and a 1.52 rating to his name he was instrumental to the victory.
