BLAST has announced that their eight-team, $1,000,000 World Final for 2022 will be hosted in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, on December 14-18. The season-ending event will take place in the Etihad Arena on the Yas Marine island, which can fit up to 18,000 people.
Alongside the location announcement, BLAST have unveiled a three-year partnership with local company AD Gaming, committing to holding more events in the country. This tournament will mark BLAST’s return to the Middle East after hosting the BLAST Pro Series Global Final 2019 in Bahrain.

The five-day event will feature some of the best teams in the world, as the invites are given to winner of the two BLAST regular seasons, ESL Pro League seasons, and CS:GO Majors in 2022, with the two remaining spots being filled through the BLAST Ranking according to the rules.
Currently, Spring Final winners Natus Vincere and PGL Major and EPL S15 champions FaZe have already qualified, with the latter squad’s double feat opening up another slot for teams coming from the BLAST ranking.
