Elden Ring Flask of Wondrous Physick: What you need to know

Healing is always something of a scarcity in any FromSoftware game, and Elden Ring is no different. You start off with barely any healing items, and you have to split them between both health and FP, so it’s not easy to manage. One of the main items that can help you improve your chances is the Elden Ring Flask of Wondrous Physick, but what is it, and where is it in the open world map?

Well, the good news is that we’ve already picked up the Elden Ring Flask of Wondrous Physick, which means we can tell you where it is, and what it does. Rather than waxing on about it anymore, we figure it makes sense to just jump on into the article to make sure you can pick up this powerful item as soon as you can.

Elden Ring Flask of Wondrous Physick

The Flask of Wondrous Physick is an item that allows you to mix Crystal Tears together to give potentially powerful effects. You can get the flask itself quite early on in the game, as it’s just to the east of the starting area. In East Limgrave is an area called Mistwood, which is a forest covered in mist. To the north of that lies the Third Church of Marika, which is the place where you’ll find the Elden Ring Flask of Wondrous Physick.

Once you’ve got the item, you can then mix together two tears of your choice. You’ll find these tears at the foot of the Minor Erdtrees that are dotted around the world of Elden Ring. Sometimes you’ll have to fight a boss for them, and sometimes you’ll be lucky and just find them on the floor nearby. You can also occasionally pick some up from dungeons too, so keep your eyes peeled.

There are a lot of different effects available too. You can do anything from healing both your FP and HP at the same time, to boosting your resistances, causing an explosion, or even making your spells cost nothing for a little while. So, you definitely want to grab this item early on, because it’ll absolutely make you more powerful.
