fnatic add HEAP on trial

The former Dignitas member has been trialing with fnatic for the past month and is making his debut with the team on Tuesday.

fnatic have announced that they have rounded out their roster with Ludvig “HEAP” Alonso, who has been signed by the organization on a trial basis.

The Swede has been playing with the team since May already, but he had to sit out his debut at the Pinnacle Cup Championship last week, with Patrik “f0rest” Lindberg taking his place at the last minute.

HEAP completes fnatic’s overhaul

Instead, his first official appearance with the Scandinavian-British mixture will come at REPUBLEAGUE Season 3, where fnatic are set to compete from Tuesday in Group B, first facing off against Into the Breach at 16:00 .

HEAP was last part of Dignitas, where he plied his trade for a year and a half alongside the likes of f0rest and Adam “friberg” Friberg. His tenure with the team came to an end recently, when the American organization first allowed their players to look for other opportunities before withdrawing from CS:GO for the time being and releasing the lineup.

The 22-year-old now makes the move up as he joins fnatic, rounding out the lineup following the signings of Nico “nicoodoz” Tamjidi and Fredrik “roeJ” Jørgensen and completing an overhaul of the team following a string of disappointing results and instability.

fnatic‘s roster now is:

Sweden Freddy “KRIMZ” Johansson
United Kingdom William “mezii” Merriman
Denmark Nico “nicoodoz” Tamjidi
Denmark Fredrik “roeJ” Jørgensen
Sweden Ludvig “HEAP” Alonso (trial)

United Kingdom Jamie “keita” Hall (coach)
