After the rocky launch of Overwatch 2 Blizzard apologizes to gamers by giving them free Overwatch 2 rewards. One of those gifts is an Overwatch 2 Double XP Weekend and the others are a free Reaper Skin and a weapon charm. Here’s how to claim the free Overwatch 2 rewards.
Free Rewards
If players log in between October 25 to the end of season one they will be able to receive the “Cursed Captain Reaper” Legendary skin. In addition to the legendary Reaper skin players can also earn the “Health Pack” Weapon Charm.
Double XP Dates
To apologize for any issues players experienced around the game’s launch. To earn the double XP all gamers will have to do is play the game within the designated time windows. There will be several Double XP days:
The XP Weekends are as follows :
- October 21 11AM PT – October 24 11AM PT
- October 28 11AM PT – October 31 11AM PT
- November 24 11AM PT – November 28 11AM
The Fixes
Within the first week of launch Overwatch 2 suffered several errors, bugs, and crashes due to the DDoS attacks and server issues. Since the launch of the game, Blizzard has claimed to largely stabilize the game overall and made a lot of progress in fixing or improving issues players may have been facing.
