Josh Allen Being Evaluated for UCL Injury

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is reportedly being evaluated for a UCL injury. It is yet unclear whether or not Allen will have to miss time with the injury, and the team will know more on Tuesday. Case Keenum is Allen’s backup and would start against his former team (the Vikings) in Week 10 if Allen cannot play.

Fox Sports’ Chris Mortensen reported the news via Twitter on Monday.

The Bills lost their second divisional game in Week 9, bringing their record to 6-2. Shortly after the alleged injury, Allen threw a Hail Mary pass that went at least 70 yards in the air. He suffered this same injury during his rookie season, which caused him to sit out four games.

Allen is the odds-on favorite to win NFL MVP this season. Through eight games so far in 2022, he has a completion percentage of 64.1, has thrown for 2,403 yards and 19 touchdowns to eight interceptions. He’s added 62 rushes for 392 yards and four touchdowns.
