Las Vegas Raiders Trade for OT Justin Herron

The Las Vegas Raiders have made a trade with the New England Patriots to add some offensive line depth to their roster. Justin Herron has been traded to the Raiders along with a seventh round pick, in exchange for sixth round pick.

The NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported the news via Twitter on Wednesday.

Herron was a sixth round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft out of Wake Forest. The Patriots selected him, and he has played for them ever since. In 2019 he earned Third Team All-ACC honors. He has played in 28 total games since 2020, starting 10 of them.

The 26-year-old tackle being traded opens up a Patriots roster spot for defensive tackle Daniel Ekuale. He was suspended for two games for the first two games of the 2022-2023 season. The reason for his suspension is unknown.
