Nigma Galaxy secure second ESL Impact title

Nigma Galaxy solidified their status as the dominant women CS:GO team with a comfortable 2-0 victory in the ESL Impact Valencia final, besting FURIA fe 16-8 on Dust2 and 16-11 on Vertigo.

In what was a repeat of the previous Impact final, we had a repeat result as well, although in more dominant fashion as this time FURIA fe couldn’t take a map from the eventual champions.

ANa once again led the way throughout the tournament for Nigma Galaxy

Ultimately Nigma Galaxy were good value for the trophy having not dropped a single map on their way to victory; the closest they were run was in a 16-11 victory against FURIA fe on Vertigo in the final.

As with the Impact Season 1 Finals in Dallas Ana “ANa” Dumbravă was Nigma’s best rated player throughout the tournament, but they also had Ksenia “vilga” Kluenkova, Victoria “tory” Kazieva and Katarína “Kat” Vašková in the top-eight rated players such was their dominance.

Despite underperforming in a losing effort in the final Olga “Olga” Rodrigues of FURIA fe was actually the highest rated player at the event, posting a 1.41 across 6 maps.

Two teams that made top four in Dallas were unable to make it out of groups this time around, with CLG Red falling to MIBR fe in Group B whilst NAVI Javelins grabbed a playoff spot at the expense of BIG EQUIPA in Group A, requiring overtime on two maps to do so.
