Pokémon GO Zamazenta Raid Guide August 2022: How to Beat Zamazenta

Pokemon GO trainers are gearing up to beat Zamazenta in five-star Raids later this month.

Galar’s legendary wolves, Zacian and Zamazenta, are the stars of this month’s Raids. This isn’t the first time the two will be front and center for five-star encounters, but that doesn’t mean trainers should give up the opportunity to catch them this time around. 

Here’s what you need to know to beat Zamazenta in Pokemon GO.

Zamazenta will be appearing in Raids later this month, August 2022. During this time, players will be able to take on the famous shield dog in five-star Raids with a boss CP threshold of 52,195 CP. Its full stats are as follows:

Zacian will be appearing in its Hero of Many Battles form at first, leaving it a single-typed Pokemon in up-coming Raids: a fighting-type. As such, it enjoys a weather boost from Cloudy weather conditions.

It is weakest against flying, psychic, and fairy-types and is resistant to rock, bug, and dark-types. Therefore, its best counter choices would be:

Both Zacian and Zamazenta will appear in five-star Raids from Aug. 18 to Aug. 31 at 10 a.m. local time.
