The Devil Is a Part-Timer! Season 2 Episode 3 Recap

During Episode 3, everyone visits the amusement park, where Emilia asks Maou how long he intends to take care of Alas Ramus. He replies that he doesn’t intend to join the troops but will still be leading the demons. While they are watching the hero show, the crescent on Alas Ramus’ forehead appears, and they leave the show in the middle.

While Maou is out, a mysterious white-haired lady appears and uses a ring to help Alas Ramus. Emilia is doubtful of her, but she assures her about her friendly intentions. Before leaving, the white-haired lady warns Emilia about Gabriel, and in the meantime, Maou returns.

All three of them go on a ferris wheel while Ashiya, Rika, and Chiho follow them. Emilia asks Maou to tell her the truth about Alas Ramus. He reveals that the white-haired woman is actually an angel who once saved his life as it was the first time she saw a devil crying. She also told him about the human world and gave him a crescent-shaped seed planted and grown in Alas Ramus. He also reveals that the little girl might be the rebirth of Yesod.

Maou and Emilia get a call that reveals that Gabriel and his men have taken Bell and Urushihara hostage, and they demand a holy sword. Gabriel takes down Maou, and Chiho begs for his life. He promises to come back tomorrow, and after he leaves, Maou shows his determination to fight back. He also tells Emilia to stay at their place for the night.
