Powerwash Simulator will be leaving Early Access next week. The indie title by Futurlab and Square Enix Collective will also be available on Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass on the day of the full release.

In Powerwash Simulator, you are handed the power of high-pressurised water strong enough to blast every bit of dirt and grime. Like many games that have “Simulator” in their title, you move around in the first person, taking in cleaning jobs around Muckingham.

You will later get to invest in upgrades and tools to make your power wash more efficient.

Powerwash Simulator’s simple premise, blasting pressurised water on dirty objects until they are squeaky clean and sparkling, is the main appeal here. Like many games about doing mundane chores, it’s for that specific reason players find the game relaxing and soothing ever since its initial Early Access release back in May 2021

And more folks will be able to get their hands on the game when it enters Game Pass.

“Powerwash Simulator is so uniquely satisfying that we want everyone to have the opportunity to enjoy it.” said FuturLab COO Chris Mehers. “Game Pass is the ideal way of making that happen.”

“We’re delighted that Powerwash Simulator will become part of Game Pass, so that millions more gamers will be able to experience the soothing gameplay.” added Phil Elliott, studio head at Square Enix Collective.

Square Enix Collective has been publishing a fascinating collection of indie titles, titles you usually won’t associate with the JRPG powerhouse. Previously, Square Enix Collective released the racing game Circuit Superstars.

Powerwash Simulator leaves Steam Early Access on July 15. Powerwash Simulator will also be added to Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass (which is now available in more countries in Southeast Asia) on the same date.
