The RX 7000 Series cards are the first to be using RDNA 3, which AMD claims to deliver up to 54% more performance per watt than the RDNA 2 cards.

The flagship RX 7900 XTX is also claimed to perform 1.7 times better at 4K resolution compared to the previous flagship, the Radeon RX 6950 XT.

Plus, the new cards support the new DisplayPort 2.1 standard, which can enable 4K gaming at up to 480Hz or 8K at 165Hz.

These RDNA 3 cards are a step above the GPUs offered on current consoles, the PS5 and Xbox Series consoles both using RDNA 2-based custom GPUs.

The AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX price starts at $999 USD (roughly RM4,742) while the RX 7900 XT starts at $899 USD (RM 4,267). The cards will be available starting December 13.
