New Games Coming To Xbox And PC Game Pass, Late August 2022

It’s past the halfway point of the month, and Xbox has revealed the upcoming games to be added to Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass for the second half of August 2022.

As always, one or two games drop early from the official announcement, and this time it’s Coffee Talk. The visual novel about talking to various folks, humans or otherwise, while serving coffee in this alternate version of Seattle is developed by Toge Productions, and has been one of the biggest game from Indonesia to find critical success.

On the topic of indie games, four will be added as day-1 releases and two are developed by mostly a single person. The promising action game Midnight Fight Express by Jacob Dzwinel and Sam Barlow’s latest “interactive game” Immortality will be released on Game Pass day-1.

If you’re peckish for more Ubisoft open world games, strap in for Immortals Fenyx Rising. And the tribute to the end of Zachtronics continues with another logic-based, problem-solving puzzle games with Exapunks added to Game Pass.

Games Leaving Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass August 31 2022

The bad news with all the new games being added is of course, there will be games leaving the service. A number of games worth checking out, from spaceship sim Elite Dangerous to cozy but touching indie title Spiritfarer, will be leaving Game Pass. Existing Game Pass subscribers can buy the game now with a 20% discount available until the games leave the service.
