Mundfish and 4Divinity announced the release date for the upcoming action-RPG FPS Atomic Heart.

Set in an alternate post-World War II utopia where humans live with robots as servants (until it didn’t), you have to fight against rebelling robots, machines and mutants to uncover the truth of what went wrong.

You can use guns, melee weapons and other abilities emitting from your left hand, using whatever is possible to survive. Combat is described as visceral (it sure looks like it from the latest trailer), and you can upgrade your arsenal.

If it reminds you of Bioshock in some ways, you’re not far off.

In “the Greater China region” and Southeast Asia, Singapore-based publisher 4Divinity is publishing Atomic Heart (rather than Focus Entertainment) while Epicsoft Asia is the game’s distributor. Pre-orders for the game are now open.

Atomic Heart will launch on February 21, 2023 for the PS45, PS5, PC (Steam), Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S while Japan and Korea will get the game sometime in early Q2 2023.
