Chivalry 2 Sales Pass 2 Million, New Dev Diary Outlines Upcoming New Features

Chivalry 2 has now sold over 2 million copies across all platforms, publisher Tripwire Interactive announced. The game by Torn Banner Studios, featuring first-person and third-person visceral medieval combat has certainly found quite the following.

To celebrate the occasion, the latest Chivalry 2 dev diary divulges details on how the developers made the recent Tenosian Invasion update which not only added mounted combat but also a new biome and faction altogether.

What can you expect from Chivalry 2, free update-wise in the coming months? These are some of the features that are currently being worked on:

  • Hippodrome, new tournament-style map designed around mounted horse combat
  • New weapon Katar
  • new winter-themed biome
  • cross-play parties

But this isn’t just all, expect more content to come, as the developers commit to supporting and expanding the game for 2022 and beyond.
