Everywhere Gets An Official Announcement, New Project From Former GTA Producer

Since his departure from Rockstar Games, Lezlie Benzies started his new indie studio Build A Rocket Boy, and gathered a team to work on an ambitious project called Everywhere.

For all these years, we only knew the name of the game and its official logo. Everywhere was recently backed financially by NetEase, and the developers also revealed that they are building the game based on Unreal Engine.

Today, finally we got our first look at this ambitious project, but I can tell you this trailer will add up to your questions rather than answer them.

According to the developers, Everywhere has been in development for five years now, and currently targets a 2023 release window.

Everywhere is supposed to be something beyond a game, turning into a place where you have your very own experience, share it with friends, and even hang out with your fellow players.

It was recently mentioned in a document from Build A Rocket Boy that Everywhere intends to become something similar to Ready Player One. It is a brand new world, unlike anything you have seen before.

As you can check out the trailer, the game seems to have Fortnite-style visuals at first, but the final part of the trailer reveals a very realistic approach to the gameplay.

The developers confirm that they are both different parts of the game and Everywhere will have even more surprises in future showcases.

According to one of the developers, they want to give players a sandbox and open-world experience which is beyond a video game, while also giving them an opportunity to experience a cinematic video game as well.

As it stands out, Everywhere is something that we haven’t seen anything similar to it so far, but if you are interested, you can check out the game’s official website via this link, and sign up for more updates in the future.

No platforms have been revealed for Everywhere yet, but it seems to be a next-gen project.
