Razer has launched the Ornata V3 gaming keyboard in Malaysia. This is an entry-level low-profile keyboard and uses Mecha-membrane switches.
The Mecha-membrane switches are a hybrid of soft membrane switches that are soft when clicking through but still produce the clicky sounds that you would associate with mechanical switches.
The keycaps of the Ornata V3 are UV-coated so they are more resistant to fade and scratches.
And as usual gaming peripheral goes, the Ornata V3 comes with RGB lighting, 10 lighting zones, backlit media keys and support for Razer Chroma, the app suite that lets you customise your Razer peripheral settings.
Plus, the keyboard also includes a removal, magnetic soft-touch wrist rest.
Razer also released the Ornata V3 X. This version comes with only 1-zone lighting RGB and silent membrane switches, but the rest of its specs match the regular Ornata V3. This one is for those who prefer a less overt gamer aesthetic on their Ornata V3 keyboard- which allows it to be priced much lower as well.
The Razer Ornata V3 and V3 X are now available in Malaysia. The Ornata V3 retails at RM239 while the Ornata V3 X is priced at RM195.
