Square Enix Montreal was among the studios that Square Enix sold off to the Embracer Group back in May.
But now that the mobile game developer is no longer associated with the Japanese publisher, it is now rebranded itself as Studio Onoma.
Onoma is the Greek word for name and Studio Onoma has dedicated a post on why naming themselves “name” has plenty of meaning and how the rebranding process went on.
The Studio Onoma brand will be an umbrella for various other products, programs and initiatives the developer will take on.
