The PlayStation Plus May 2022 have been officially revealed by Sony and the leak was, once again, correct. Your free games are FIFA 22, Tribes of Midgard, and Curse of the Dead Gods. Additionally, this month’s line-up also includes a bonus FIFA 22 FUT pack.

PlayStation Plus members can kickstart their brand-new Ultimate Team or bolster their existing squad with the PlayStation Plus FUT Pack for FIFA 22 Ultimate Team. This pack includes 11 players rated 82 or above to help build your dream squad in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team, as well as an Icon Moments Loan Player Pick, allowing you to choose between some of the best ballers in history and add one of three to your squad for five games.
These are three very different games for players to sink their teeth into. Of course, FIFA 22 is self explanatory being the world’s biggest football game, though for how long EA’s game will carry the FIFA name remains to be seen. If football is not your cup of tea then you may instead want one of the other games.
In our preview for Curse of the Dead Gods, Thomas wrote: “So far Curse of the Dead Gods has proven itself a competent and enjoyable roguelite. It’s unique art direction and interesting gameplay dynamics tie together perfectly to create a fascinating and cohesive experience. Curse of the Dead Gods might be the near the start of its journey to completion, but what we’ve seen so far points towards a bright future – unless you’re stuck in the depths of its labyrinth, of course.”
Tribes of Midgard’s description reads: “Tribes of Midgard is a co-op game with a unique blend of action, survival, and roguelite elements. Players must defend their village from hordes of invaders—deadly spirits and gigantic brutes—that every night threaten to destroy the Seed of Yggdrasil, the sacred tree you’re sworn to protect. Only by protecting the Seed, you and your tribe can stop Ragnarök—the end of the world!”
An important note for PlayStation 5 users: Persona 5 will leave the PS Plus Collection on May 11th. You must add the game to your game library before then to continue to access it while you have an active PlayStation Plus subscription.
