Forza Horizon 5 Series 10 Now Live: Extreme E, New Porsches And More

It’s another new seasonal event cycle happening in Forza Horizon 5 with Series 10 kicking off today.

Series 10 is centred around a big collaboration with Extreme E. This is the off-road racing series where teams travel to exotic and remote locations on Earth to highlight various environmental issues by racing in electric-powered machines.

The machines, the Odyssey 21, are up for grabs in this series. All the cars from the competing teams are represented as individual cars you can earn or buy. The teams have the backing of racing legends across many motorsport disciplines, from rally champion Carlos Sainz Sr. to F1 world champions (Lewis Hamilton, Nico Rosberg, Jensen Button) as well as some famous racing team names like Chip Ganassi Racing and McLaren.

The Odyssey 21 can be fast and a handful when navigating through rough terrain, as evident in the many incidents these cars have gone through in the past Extreme E races, so this should be a perfect ride to go through the wildlands of Mexico with.

In fact, during Series 10, the series championship is taking a nod from Xtreme E by having them be “X Prix”, themed around a particular biome.

Some of the Extreme E cars will be part of the Festival Playlist rewards. But if the idea of having to unlock what’s essentially the same 10 electric SUVs, Series 10 also offers four new Porsche cars to unlock, including the Pink Pig car, the 1971 Porsche #23 917/20.

Plus, all players of Forza Horizon 5 will also get access to new Hot Wheels-themed customisation options. This includes 12 new Hot Wheels Spectraflame colours, and the redline tyre compound. This does not require the Hot Wheels expansion DLC.
