Suprise! Suprise? Atlus has announced that the trio of the latest Persona games will also be coming to Nintendo Switch. This was revealed as the one last surprise at the June 2022 Nintendo Direct Mini.

But is it? At the Xbox & Bethesda Showcase 2022, we already saw the big finale of the show giving spotlight to the three Persona games coming to Xbox (for the first time) and Game Pass. ,And later after that we learned that the three games are also going to be available on PC (except P4 Golden, which already released there) and PS4 (except P5 Royal, which already released there but instead is getting a native PS5 release).

Nonetheless, it’s still good to see that the Persona series will become available everywhere. Whatever your platform of choice, you too can engage in a deep JRPG featuring high-school kids going to school, learning about themselves and each other, juggling free time between commitments, self-time and dungeon crawling, as well as fighting and fusing demons. The usual things teenagers do.

Jokes aside, the well-executed turn-based combat combined with having to live a life of a student in some parts of Japan is what this trio of games have its adoring fans when the series used to only be released on PlayStation platforms.

The Switch version of Persona 5 Royal will release on October 21, at the same time as the PS5, PC (Steam, Microsoft Store), Xbox One and Xbox series X|S releases. Similarly, there is yet a firm release date for Persona 4 Golden and Persona 3 Portable.
