Postknight 2 Goes To Greater Heights With New Update Now Live

Malaysian indie devs Kurechii announced a new update that has gone live for its free-to-play mobile RPG (and arguably a Strand game) Postknight 2.

The Greater Heights major update is technically a series of game updates. Version 1.3, The Treetops Of Sagacia is now live today whereas update version 1.4, The Fortress of Regalle, is coming next month on September 20.

With the Greater Heights update, your postknight (a combo-job of a parcel delivery person and a knight) will venture out of the country of Kurestal and into the lands of Quivtol.

The Treetops of Sagacia is the first stop on your new adventure, where the folks live in the treetops in hidden villages.

A new story beat, new enemies, new gear sets and new pets are added as part of this version 1.3 update.

The pets include the premium pet Zenkoban, and the cheeky Monyeet. The latter is a fun name, just because an extra “e” added to the Malay word for monkey (monyet) can be pronounced entirely different: Mon-yeet, anyone?

Also, heavy weapon skills are being reworked.

Next month will see players venture to the capital of Quivtol, Regalle City. The story here will involve convincing the Queen to open a new Postknight branch in the city, as “memories of the past stand in their way”. Again, expect a new story beat, new enemies and gear sets, plus new pets with the version 1.4 update. The premium pet included in this update was voted by the game’s community of players.

Lastly, Postknight 2 is also adding language options for German, Spanish, French, Russian, and Brazilian Portuguese, with more language options to be added in the future.

Postknight 2 is now available on iOS and Android.
