Passion Republic Games’ debut title, the four-player monster masher of large proportions GigaBash is out now. The made-in-Malaysia game lets players control Tokusatsu-inspired Titans in a big battle for supremacy in fully-destructible maps.

If you love the Super Smash Bros. series, or the cult classic PS2 game War Of The Monsters, or the other cult classic game Power Stone, you’ll likely find something you love seeing in GigaBash. It’s a 3D arena brawler like Power Stone, with controls and match formats familiar to Smash players, and it’s been a long while since you get to wreak havoc as big monsters in a multiplayer fighting game.

GigaBash supports online play. But it’s not full cross-play. PS4 and PS5 players can play together (cross-gen cross-play). PC players on Steam and Epic Games Store share the same matchmaking pool but cannot direct invite each other. And there is no PC-PlayStation cross-play.

However, GigaBash does support couch play (local multiplayer) for up to 4 players. And if beating each other up as ridiculous monsters (plus a mecha and a superhero with a dad bod) is too intense, there is Mayhem Mode, a co-op party mode (only available in local multiplayer) where you do a series of mini-games together.

Plus, GigaBash is a fighting game that includes a Story Mode. The short campaigns cover four playable characters: Gorogong, Pipijuras, Woolley, and Thundatross.

GigaBash is out now on PS4, PS5 and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
