Here comes a new challenger, and a returning one. At EVO 2022, Capcom revealed a new trailer for the upcoming fighting game Street Fighter 6, featuring two characters joining the roster.

First up is Kimberly. Previously teased before, the spunky new character is a big fan of the 80s (she has a cassette player) but also a ninja. Apparently lore-wise she’s the latest student of Guy in the art of Bushinryu. The swift moves of a ninja and the peppy spirit of a youngster, what’s not to love?

The other character is the return of the fan-favourite Juri Han. The “sadistic thrillseeker” brings her menacing smile and kicks to this new entry of Street Fighter. Her default outfit is more reminiscent of the one in Street Fighter IV where she debuted.

Of course, fans may have already know the full roster already from a previous leak, but it’s still exciting to see the characters in action. And it helps that the gameplay we see of Street Fighter 6 so far, it looks promising.

In addition, Capcom also revealed two more commentators for the real-time commentary feature. Hear Tasty Steve pop-off in hype mode when you select him on the desk. James Chen is the first colour commentator of the current four revealed so far, providing an on-the-fly analysis of the match.

Street Fighter 6 will be out on PS4, PS5, PC (Steam), and Xbox Series X|S sometime in 2023.
